The Measure Body Height feature available on iPhone Pro 12 or later and iPad Pro 2nd generation or later offers a practical approach to measuring human height. This tool stands out for its ability to accurately measure height even in crowded settings, where body parts may be obscured.

To initiate the height measurement, users need to stabilize their device and tap the 'stand up people' icon located at the bottom center of the interface. Once activated, the app displays the height of individuals onscreen above their heads. It is essential to note that users should deduct the height contributed by footwear for precise results.

Participants are advised to maintain an upright posture—standing straight and looking forward—to ensure accuracy akin to traditional height measurement methods. The application continues measuring until the user decides to pause the process, maintaining its efficacy even with some parts of the body not fully visible.

Additional customization options are available within the settings menu. Users can convert measurements between centimeters and feet and alter text color for improved visibility. Accessing the settings page is straightforward by clicking on the top-left button. Furthermore, the app allows adjustments to the height measurement through a DP ratio, which defaults at 1.5; a higher DP ratio yields a larger estimated height.
